Ilchi Lee was wrongfully sued by several people. All the lawsuits present insufficient evidences. Because of the insufficient evidences, the claims are dismissed and the intentions of the people that filed the lawsuits are questioned. The lawsuit regarding the death of Julia Siverls states that the hike which she participated is a fatal hike.
According to the Ilchi Lee lawsuit, all the activities are associated with a cult. Conners, the former spokesperson for Dahn stated that the activities are not cult like by pointing to several allegations. Siverls died after suffering from intense heat while hiking in the desert of Arizona. The lawsuit claimed that Siverls requested to stop but she was forced to continue hiking. She collapsed while hiking in Arizona desert. Despite all the allegations brought forth by the lawsuit, the judge dismissed it because no drug is found in Siverls body.
In August of 2010, Ilchi Lee was sued for sexual assault by a woman called Jessica Harrelson. Jessica Harrelson pointed out in the lawsuit she was molested by Ilchi Lee. Harrelson did not make consistent statements. As a result, the allegation had to be dismissed by the judge of Arizona district.
The latest Ilchi Lee lawsuit is the case between Andrew Myers and Ilchi Lee. Andrew Myers accused Ilchi Lee and Dahn Yoga Center for causing intentional infliction in the members. According to the latest Ilchi Lee lawsuit, it is a violation against the Virginia Consumer Protection Act. Insufficient evidence to back up the claim caused this Ilchi Lee lawsuit to be dismissed as well.
