Camcorder Technology Has Advanced Again

HD is a wonderful thing, the quality of video is outstanding and a world apart from just a decade ago. When you couple HD with the versatility of a camcorder you want the HD quality to come through the camcorder and back to your HD screen. Internal memory of past camcorders couldn’t provide the bandwidth needed for direct camcorder recording of HD and workarounds had to suffice.

Not anymore, as the Panasonic line of dual memory SDXC Card HD camcorders allows full HD, 1920 x 1080, recording as it passes more than double the picture content information of a 1080i interlaced analog recording. It produces such ultimate image quality, it actually exceeds even conventional full HD images. Afterimages are kept to a minimum and the patterns caused by moving subjects are completely eliminated.

While the SDXC Card is the reason for the HD recording bandwidth it also shines in the bulk storage specifications as well. The 64 GB version of he SDXC Card can record approximately 27 hours and 30 minutes of 1920 x 1080i high-definition video when in the HE mode; approximately 5 hours and 20 minutes of 1920 x 1080p full high-definition video in 1080/50p mode. Panasonic’s camcorder with 3MOS Sensor, uses three individual colour sensors to make sure that HD applies to the colour reproduction as well. And the Leica Dicomar Lens keeps it all in focus.
